HURST FEATURED AT RECEPTION FOR HC ARTS COUNCIL

There are unlimited ways to show creativity.  But the Henry County Arts Council will be featuring the talents of a local artist this Sunday with a special reception at their gallery in the basement of the Armory Arts and Events Center.   Sue Hurst and her husband Steve have been creating gorgeous stained glass works that will be showcased from 1 till 3pm this Sunday.  It’s amazing what light and stained glass can generate in terms of art, with many of their creations found in area churches.  Some of Sue’s other works will be on-display as well.   She taught high school art at Archbold Schools for decades, retiring in 2015.  She now offers private lessons and has a studio in Ridgeville Corners.
