MORNING TRAFFIC

A two-vehicle collision at a dangerous intersection west of Napoleon sent one person to the hospital.   The Henry County Sheriff’s office investigated at U.S. 24 and county road P at 4:16pm Thursday.  Injured in the crash was 44 year old Dorothy Zeller of Fremont, Indiana, who was taken from the scene by Life Flight, and transported to St. Vincent Medical Center in Toledo.  There were minor injuries for other victims in the crash from Michigan; but no other transports were reported.  Napoleon Rescue responded to the scene.

The Henry County Sheriff’s office is investigating a couple of theft complaints from Thursday.  Gasoline was stolen from a business along route 109 near Liberty Center just after 5pm yesterday.

And just after 10pm last night, some firearms and checks were stolen in a theft from property along road 4-a near Liberty Center.

Napoleon Police made an arrest in a shoplifting incident at 2:26pm Thursday at 1815 Scott Street.  60 year old Edwin Lichtenwalner of Napoleon was charged with Theft and Falsification.  Lichtenwalner was transported to the regional jail.
