NAPOLEON HOSTS PUBLIC HRG. FOR OUTDOOR REFRESHMENT

The city of Napoleon hosted their first public hearing on a proposal to establish a designated outdoor refreshment area in downtown.   There was more support for the proposal from visitors to the hearing Monday night.

Another hearing is slated for June 18th.

The update on the Industrial Drive resurfacing project indicates it is on-schedule.   But the closure days are approaching, and Napoleon has required the contractor to go to a schedule of 6 10-hour days to move-up completion.

Napoleon Council has set a public hearing on June 25th to hear the request for designation of property into an agriculture district for the Hibbard Orchard property on the north side of the city.

And they went into executive session to discuss pending litigation and compensation of personnel, with no action taken.
