The mystery of the missing cannonball at the old Holgate firehouse has been solved. It’s a cannonball that has been missing for over 3 decades. The 175-lb piece of metal was found in the sewer line just down the street from the old fire-house, and was fished to the surface with a chain sling. The cannonball will be returned to the military display as soon as possible.
