SENATOR BROWN HIGHLIGHTS DEFICIENT BRIDGES-NW OHIO

U.S. Senator Sherrod Brown is calling on Congress to approve funding for infrastructure improvements, due to the poor condition of local bridges around the nation.  President Trump called for the same initiative, saying 1-trillion dollars is needed to get the job done.

In Ohio, nearly 2,000 bridges are rated as structurally deficient, and some are located in the area.  Senator Brown reports there are 9 bridges rated structurally deficient in Henry County, 10 in Fulton County, 11 in Defiance County,  13 in Putnam County, and Wood County is highest on the list in the region, at 62 listed structurally deficient.
