And that where Northwest State Community College is ranked with their practical nursing program: #1 in the state of Ohio, among 62 schools providing nursing programs. NW State is also ranked #1 in the nation for their practical nursing program. Their Registered nursing program was ranked #8 in the state out of 99 schools. And they were ranked in the top 14% of schools in the nation.
Dean of Nursing, Patti Altman says the ranking indicates the hard work in putting together a curriculum that will meet the industry and employer standards, allowing grads to be successful.
