WEEKEND TRAFFIC

Three subjects were arrested in connection with an early morning break-in discovered in Henry County on Saturday.  At just before 5am, a home-owner on Keyser Street in Deshler reported three males were trying to enter a pole building on his property.  That resident was able to detain the youth, until Deshler Police and the Henry County Sheriff’s office arrived on the scene.  18 year old Daniel Geckle of Ottawa was arrested, along with a 17 year old male, and a 16 year old male, both from Ottawa.  Daniel Geckle was charged with Attempted Breaking and Entering, along with Possession of Criminal Tools.  The 17 year old subject was charged with Attempted Breaking and Entering, Possession of Criminal Tools, and Possession of Marijuana.  The 16 year old was also charged with Attempted Breaking and Entering, and Possession of Criminal Tools.   Geckle was transported to the regional jail, awaiting a court appearance, while the two juveniles were released to their parents.

And Friday night at 8:05pm, an injury crash occurred on Water Street in Deshler, when a driver turned onto the railroad tracks, and got stuck.  86 year old Joan Schramm of Toledo suffered injuries, and was transported to the Wood County Hospital by the Bartlow Township Rescue Squad.

                   Another attempted break-in was discovered at a business on South East Street in McClure Saturday at 2:41pm.
