LOCAL SCHOOLS TO BE RECOGNIZED

It’s a big night for local schools, as the Ohio School Board Association hosts their recognition night at the Four County Career Center.  Momentum awards are being presented to some area buildings for their efforts in progress for students.   Patrick Henry Middle School, where Jordan Lefevre is principal, Napoleon Middle School, with Adam Niese Principal, and Wauseon Middle School, where Joe Friess was principal-are all being saluted.   The entire Patrick Henry district under superintendent Tom Taylor will also be recognized in the progress category.  The Northwest Ohio Humanitarian award goes to Patrick Henry teachers Karen Phillips and Christine Tussing-Bean for their efforts in Project Revolution.    And the following school board members are being recognized for 15 years of service to their districts:  Mike Knueven at Patrick Henry, John King at Pettisville, and Mark Klein at Defiance.
