The Highway patrol investigated a fatal crash in Fulton County on Sunday. The accident took place on Fulton County road C near road 11, when 22 year old Mark Murar of Lyons lost control of his vehicle, striking an embankment and guard rail. The auto flipped over, and Murar suffered critical injuries. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Henry County Sheriff’s office is investigating a shooting incident from over the weekend in Hamler. A gun was discharged on First Street in Hamler around 4:30pm Saturday, with no injuries. 36 year old Cutberto Diaz of Hamler was charged with Aggravated Menacing. Diaz was transported to CCNO.
At 12:46pm Sunday, a motorcycle driver lost control of his bike on state route 18 west of Holgate. 38 year old Aaron Rieman of Leipsic was ejected from his motorcycle and suffered injuries. Rieman was transported to the Defiance Regional Hospital by the South Joint Ambulance District.
And Sunday at 1:40pm, the Henry County Sheriff’s office responded to a disorderly conduct complaint along route 109 in Malinta. 19 year old Brandon Omlor of Liberty Center was issued a summons to court.
