WEEKEND TRAFFIC REPORT

A collision involving a motorcycle and pickup led to serious injuries for one of the drivers Friday afternoon in Henry County.  The Sheriff’s office investigated the accident at 4:15pm Friday on road W in Washington Township.  22 year old Henry Urbina of Swanton was trailing a pickup that slowed to make a turn, and the motorcycle plowed into the truck.  Henry Urbina was transported by Liberty Rescue to a site where he could be taken by Life Flight to St. Vincent Medical Center in Toledo.  The pickup driver was not injured.

A hit-skip accident was reported on east High Street in Liberty Center around 5pm Friday, as law officers continue to search for the vehicle involved.

Two other accidents were investigated over the weekend in Henry County; but none involved injuries.

An identity theft was reported by a rural Napoleon resident Friday afternoon, when unauthorized charges were found on an account.

A traffic stop was made at 8:40pm Saturday on U.S. 24, where 57 year old Carey Vonderhagen of Hazel Park, Michigan was cited for OVI.  Vonderhagan was held over the weekend at CCNO.

                   Just after 2am Sunday morning, Henry County deputies were dispatched to property along state route 65 in the McClure area.  37 year old Todd Holton of McClure was charged with Domestic Violence, and Holton was taken to the regional jail.

A theft was reported along road V near Liberty Center Sunday afternoon, when some antique wheels were stolen from the property.

          A car caught fire near the intersection of U.S. 24 and route 109, sending Liberty Center fire department to the scene Sunday at 4pm.

                             And a theft was reported along road 5 near Malinta Sunday after 4:30pm, when a trailer was stolen.

Napoleon Police investigated a theft at 1815 Scott Street Friday over the noon hour.

A warning was issued for criminal trespassing at East River Downs Park after-hours Saturday at 2:40am.

Napoleon Officers investigated a narcotics incident in the 100 block of Holy Hill Drive Saturday at 2:45pm.

A suspicious vehicle complaint was filed at Oakwood Park at 11:41pm Saturday, where 19 year old Ciara Parks of Napoleon was cited for Fictitious Plates.

And a traffic stop was made at 1pm Sunday on Oakwood Avenue, where 51 year old Annette Behrman of Stryker was cited for Driving under Suspensiuon.
