While a lot of people dread getting up and going into work each morning, not everyone out there hates their job. In fact, in some parts of the country people are actually happy to head into the office, and a new report reveals exactly where all those happy workers reside.
A new survey by career discovery platform and career test experts, Sokanu, reveals the states where folks are the happiest, and least happy with their jobs. For second year in a row, Hawaii is the state with the happiest workforce in the U.S., but come on, is there ever a reason to be unhappy in Hawaii. Coming in right behind Hawaii is Alaska, followed by Wyoming.
As for the folks who are the most miserable at their job, they tend to live on the East Coast, with 80% of unhappy workers living in New England. Overall, folks in Washington, DC are the unhappiest at their job, followed Massachusetts and Pennsylvania.

When it comes to the jobs that make people the happiest, a lot of them see to be in the creative field, including video game producer, film director, music producer and comedian, with neurosurgeon the only outlier on the list. Jobs where folks are the least satisfied include store clerk, cashier, janitor, machine feeder and telemarketer.
