We all know that Christmas can be a stressful time, especially if you’re around family, but it can be even more stressful if you’re the one hosting Christmas dinner. So, what about the holiday meal stresses hosts out the most?
Well, according to a Bob Evans survey, half of all of Christmas dinner hosts worry about timing the cooking so that all the dishes are ready on time (55%).
Other worries about Christmas dinner include:
- Preparing the main dish (14%)
- Making all the side dishes (11%)
- Meeting the dietary restrictions of guests (11%)
- Having drinks your guests will like (6%)
- Serving the food (5%)
- Preparing the appetizers and dessert (3%)
Surprisingly, the survey finds that men are more concerned about meeting the dietary needs of their guests than women, while men are also more concerned about having the right drinks (something everyone should be concerned about).
And when it comes to drinks, Millennials seem to be the most worried (9%), as compared to Gen Xers (5%) and Baby Boomers (3%).
