Chef Chuck - Reuben Sandwich


Reuben Sandwich

2ea.  slice rye bread (buttered on one side)

2ea. Swiss cheese

2oz. sauerkraut (or more whatever you prefer)

3-4oz. corned beef (slice thin but not shaved)

2oz. 1000 island


Heat skillet on low heat and put buttered bread butter side down in pan. 

Lay 1 piece swiss cheese on each bread, spread 1oz. 1000 island on each piece of bread. 

Lay sauerkraut on one piece and lay corned beef atop sauerkraut. 

Top with other bread and flip when golden brown. Grill other side till golden brown . 

Put on cutting board and cut in ½.
