Sony Cleans Up Its Movies

If you’re trying to sanitize your movie collection, Sony is here to help. The company announced its “Clean Version Initiative.” What that means is that they’ll be cutting bad language, violence, and sexual content from some of its more popular movies.

Naturally, not everyone was happy to hear that. Seth Rogan said, “Holy [ish] please don’t do this to our movies. Thanks!”

You’ll be able to get the clean versions through iTunes, Vudu, and Fandango Now. Here’s a look at the first 24 movies to get the "cleansing treatment":

  • “50 First Dates”
  • “Battle Of The Year”
  • “Big Daddy”
