Scott Pelley is apparently out as anchor/managing editor of “CBS Evening News." How "out?" According to "Page Six," Pelley's office was being cleaned out last night while he was out on assignment for "60 Minutes. And that's a good thing - apparently, that's where he'll be permanently stationed.
According to insiders, CBS News president, David Rhodes, is behind the move as there are reports that the pair “don’t get on.” Another is pointing to ratings - that Pelley’s have been down.
No replacement has yet been named to fill Pelley's chair, but we'll keep you posted.
