An overturned tractor-trailer left emergency services in need of one huge scooper. Spring Township, Pennsylvania authorities arrived on the scene and found more than 31-thousand pounds of cat litter had spilled onto the highway.
Luckily, driver Donald Haberle walked away from the accident without any major injuries, but the cleanup forced a five hour closure of the northbound lanes of Route 222.
As far as overturned tractor-trailers go, police sergeant Bill P. Van Etten says it could have been much worse. The biggest problem? "It was just really messy."
