DEFIANCE COUNTY GRAND JURY INDICTMENTS NOV. 20

Defiance County Prosecuting Attorney, Morris J. Murray, has released the following information regarding recent Indictments returned by a Defiance County Grand Jury on November 19, 2024:  

Gregory C. Biglow, age 59, 944 N. West St., Lima, was indicted for One Count of Grand Theft, a Felony of the Fourth Degree. Authorities allege that on March 24, 2024, Biglow collected over $13,000, by deception and/or beyond consent, for construction work that was not performed.

Brittany R. Zipfel, age 31, 728 Bell St., Defiance, was indicted for One Count of Domestic Violence, a Felony of the Third Degree, One Count of Assault, a Misdemeanor of the First Degree, and One Count of Possession of a Fentanyl-Related Compound, a Felony of the Fifth Degree. Authorities allege that on October 19, 2024, at a residence on Mustang Dr., in Defiance, Zipfel caused or attempted to cause physical harm to a family or household member, and she has two prior domestic violence convictions, which elevate the level of the domestic violence offense to a Felony of the Third Degree. Authorities further allege that Zipfel also caused or attempted to cause physical harm to another person at the residence during the aforementioned incident. Authorities also allege that on August 15, 2024, at a residence on Mustang Dr., in Defiance, Zipfel was found in possession of a fentanyl-related compound.

Franklin A. Williamson, age 79, 1680 Terrawenda Dr., Defiance, was indicted for One Count of Domestic Violence, a Felony of the Fourth Degree. Authorities allege that on November 13, 2024, at his residence on Terrawenda Dr., in Defiance, Williamson caused or attempted to cause physical harm to a family or household member, and he has a prior conviction for an offense of violence against a family or household member, which elevates the level of this offense to a felony.

Kenneth J. Lorton, age 36, 1529 Brooke Park Dr., Apt. 8, Toledo, was indicted for One Count of Strangulation, a Felony of the Fourth Degree, and One Count of Domestic Violence, a Misdemeanor of the First Degree. Authorities allege that on November 17, 2024, on Fourth St., in Defiance, Lorton caused or created a substantial risk of physical harm to a family or household member by means of strangulation or suffocation. Authorities further allege that, during the aforementioned incident, Lorton also caused or attempted to cause physical harm to a family or household member.

Clinton M. Kaylor, age 45, 409 S. Van Buren St., Apt. 101, Auburn, Indiana, was indicted for One Count of Having Weapons While Under Disability, a Felony of the Third Degree, and One Count of Operating a Vehicle Under the Influence of Alcohol, a Drug of Abuse or a Combination of Them, an Unclassified Misdemeanor. Authorities allege that on September 8, 2024, on US 24, in Defiance, Kaylor operated a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs, and he has two prior OVI convictions within the past ten years. Authorities further allege that, during a subsequent traffic stop, Kaylor was also found in possession of a firearm, and he is prohibited from possessing a firearm due a prior conviction for a felony offense of violence.

Saddam Mohammed Sa Al Baadani, age 36, 2802 Lafayette Rd., Indianapolis, Indiana,

Zakarya Abdulwahid Al Huthaifi, age 27, 1468 Bank Place, Indianapolis, Indiana,

Each were indicted for One Count of Aggravated Possession of Drugs, a Felony of the Third Degree. Authorities allege that on September 30, 2024, during a traffic stop on US 24, in Defiance, Al Baadani and Al Huthaifi were found in possession of over forty-five grams of Cathinone, a Schedule I drug.

Paul E. Anderson, age 48, 844 N. Clinton St., Lot C50, Defiance, was indicted for One Count of Failure to Appear as Required by Recognizance, a Felony of the Fourth Degree. Authorities allege that on November 12, 2024, Anderson failed to appear at the Defiance County Common Pleas Court for a pre-trial hearing, in connection with the commission of a felony, after having been released on a personal recognizance bond.

Jason A. Delaney, age 46, 628 N. Walnut St., Bryan, was indicted for One Count of Failure to Appear as Required by Recognizance, a Felony of the Fourth Degree. Authorities allege that on November 7, 2024, Delaney failed to appear for a pre-trial hearing, at the Defiance County Common Pleas Court, in connection with the commission of a felony, after having been released on a personal recognizance bond.

Jared E. Frymire, age 44, 609 Dakota Place, Defiance, a superseding indictment has been returned charging Two Counts of Pandering Obscenity Involving a Minor, and One Count of Illegal Use of Minor or Impaired Person in Nudity-Oriented Material or Performance, each a Felony of the Second Degree, as well as Four Counts of Illegal Use of Minor or Impaired Person in Nudity-Oriented Material or Performance, each a Felony of the Fifth Degree, and One Count of Pandering Obscenity Involving a Minor, a Felony of the Fourth Degree. Authorities allege that from January 1, 2024, through February 29, 2024, at his residence, in Defiance, Frymire created, reproduced, or published material showing a minor participating or engaging in sexual activity and obscene material involving a minor, and he also created or transferred material showing a minor in a state of nudity. Frymire was originally indicted for related offenses in May, and authorities now allege additional images constituting the above offenses were later recovered, resulting in the new indictment.

Robert T. Boroff, age 31, 817 Indian Bridge Lane, Defiance, was indicted for One Count of Aggravated Possession of Drugs, a Felony of the Fifth Degree. Authorities allege that on September 3, 2024, during a traffic stop on W. Second St., in Defiance, Boroff was found in possession of Methamphetamine, a Schedule II drug.

Veronica L. Corwin, age 19, 844 N. Clinton St., B25, Defiance, was indicted for One Count of Grand Theft, a Felony of the Fourth Degree. Authorities allege that from August 1, 2024, through October 15, 2024, Corwin stole more than $8,000 from Chief Supermarket, on Deatrick St., in Defiance.

Dennis A. Horg, age 51, 1722 Sunshine Lane, in Defiance, was indicted for One Count of Menacing by Stalking, a Felony of the Fourth Degree. Authorities allege that from September 12, 2024, through September 23, 2024, Horg engaged in a pattern of conduct that caused mental distress to another and also caused the victim to believe that he would cause them or their family physical harm. Horg also has a prior conviction of Menacing by Stalking.

Sonia M. Campos, age 44, 421 Seneca St., Defiance, was indicted for One Count of Endangering Children, a Felony of the Second Degree, and One Count of Domestic Violence, a Felony of the Fourth Degree. Authorities allege that on October 16, 2024, at her residence on Seneca St., in Defiance, Campos physically restrained a twelve year old family member in a cruel manner, which created a substantial risk of serious physical harm to said child. Authorities further allege that Campos also caused physical harm to the child during the aforementioned incident. Campos also has a prior Endangering Children conviction, which elevates the level of these offenses.

Eric D. Boyce, age 47, 301 W. Church St., Stryker, was indicted for One Count of Burglary, a Felony of the Second Degree, and One Count of Grand Theft, a Felony of the Fourth Degree. Authorities allege that on July 6, 2023, Boyce forced entry into a residence on State Route 15, in Defiance, and he then stole a motorcycle from the residence.

Arraignments are scheduled for Tuesday, December 3, 2024, at 9 a.m.
