A single vehicle crash in Defiance County Tuesday morning has taken the life of the driver. The Highway Patrol investigated the accident around 10:30am on state route 18 near Flickinger Road in Delaware Township of Defiance County. The Highway Patrol reports 56 year old Douglas Justinger of Defiance was eastbound on Route 18 when his pickup went off the road and struck a ditch and then fence, before rolling over. Douglas Justinger suffered critical injuries, and was taken by Delaware Township EMS to Mercy Defiance Hospital. He was pronounced dead at the hospital. Troopers report Justinger was wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.
