A 64 year old structure in Henry County is getting a face-lift. The Henry County Highway garage was built in 1958, and its time to replace some of the aging parts, with a renovation project now underway. Rupp Rosebrock of rural Liberty Center is overseeing the work that includes replacing the flooring and drains, the original siding, along with windows and doors. The large overhead doors are being widened to handle bigger equipment, and there will be a new roof installed, along with interior painting. The improvements are estimated at about 1.2 million dollars, with completion of the Henry County Highway Garage along Bales Road in Napoleon anticipated by approximately November 1st.
