The Defiance County Grand Jury indicted 31 persons in the March sessions, with cases presented by prosecuting attorney Morris Murray. Some of those indictments include:
33 year old Eldon L. Howe-Anderson of Defiance, indicted on three counts of Rape. The cases involved alleged sexual contact with victims under the age of 10.
50 year old John A. Black of Sherwood was indicted on two counts of Rape, and two counts of Sexual Battery.
27 year old Dylan Freed, address unknown, was indicted for Felonious Assault, two counts of Domestic Violence, Attempted Felonious Assault, Abduction, and three counts of Endangering Children.
28 year old Daniel Rubio of Defiance was indicted for Trafficking in Cocaine.
And 26 year old Tomas R. Walters of Defiance was indicted for two counts of Felonious Assault, Failing to comply with an Officer, Having Weapons while under Disability, Vandalism, Possession of Drugs, and Operating a vehicle while under the Influence.
