A Sherwood man has been sentenced to prison in Defiance County Common Pleas Court, after he failed to provide a change of address as a sex offender. 28 year old Korie S. Wirth of Sherwood was ordered to spend 36 months behind bars for the felony offense. The original conviction for Wirth was Unlawful Sexual Conduct with a Minor. He was also placed on community control for 5 years, after his sentencing on charges of Grand Theft, along with Breaking and Entering.
In another case, Defiance County Prosecuting Attorney Morris Murray reports 52 year old Gerald F. Shreve, Jr. was found guilty of Domestic Violence and Abduction. A pre-sentence investigation was ordered in that case.
