A Defiance man has been sentenced to prison, after his guilty pleas to felony charges of Robbery and Abduction. Defiance County Prosecuting Attorney Morris Murray reports 23 year old Shawn M. Curtzwiler was convicted of the crimes, and sentenced to 5 years to 7 and a half years in prison. On May 3rd, Curtzwiler and two defendants inflicted physical harm on another subject while committing a theft offense.
In other cases from Defiance County Common Pleas Court, 49 year old Douglas T. Blade was found guilty of Gross Sexual Imposition. And 19 year old Davion Baker was found guilty of Robbery.
