The Ohio Highway Patrol was dispatched to the scene of a fatal accident early Sunday morning in Defiance County. Troopers report the crash occurred at about 1:31am on Watson Road near Karnes Road.59 year old Jed Cooper of Defiance was driving his pickup eastbound on Watson road, and veered left into the guardrail. The pickup rolled over causing critical injuries for Jed Cooper, who was pronounced dead at the scene. Defiance Fire and Rescue, and the Defiance County Sheriff’s office also responded.
