LOCAL MAN KILLED IN DT NAPOLEON CRASH EARLY SATURDAY, CHILDREN INJURED

A local man was killed in a downtown Napoleon crash early Saturday morning, and two children were injured. The highway patrol investigated the collision at 12:12am Saturday, at the intersection of route 108, and Clinton Street in Napoleon. 40 year old Shane Pullen of Napoleon was southbound on route 108, going off the left side of the road, and striking a curb. The vehicle went out of control striking a light pole, and then another utility pole. Shane Pullen suffered critical injuries, and was transported to the Henry County Hospital by Napoleon Rescue, but was pronounced dead at the hospital. Two minor children sustained non life-threatning injuries, and were transported from the scene. Troopers report, safety belts and child restraints were not in use.
