A Defiance woman was killed in a single vehicle crash in Putnam County reported Monday afternoon. The highway patrol investigated the accident at 4pm on Putnam County road 22 near Continental.31 year old Cindel Fenter of Defiance lost control of her vehicle, striking a ditch, in a rollover crash. Fenter was ejected from the vehicle, and suffered critical injuries. Cindel Fenter was pronounced dead at the scene. Two young children were also inside the vehicle, ages 3 and 1, and were secured in safety seats. They suffered minor injuries and were transported to Mercy Health Putnam County Medical Center in Glandorf by Continental EMS.
And at least 4 departments were sent to the scene of a house fire reported in Henry County at 4am this morning. The blaze was discovered at a home along county road H, between roads 11 and 12.The Henry County Sheriff’s office dispatched the Malinta, Hamler, Holgate and Florida-Flatrock fire departments to the fire.
