UNEMPLOYMENT NUMBERS BY COUNTY FALL IN NW OHIO

The unemployment numbers around northwest Ohio fell again in March, and every county is below the state average but one. Henry County’s jobless rate of 5.1% for March was still above the state average of 4.7%.Fulton County recorded an unemployment rate of 4.3%, while Defiance County hit 4.1.Williams County was among the lowest in the region at 3.7% for March; and Putnam County hit 3.4%.(Paulding 3.8)

Around the Buckeye State, the highest jobless rate was reported in Noble and Mahoning Counties, each at 6.6% in March. Holmes County reported the lowest unemployment in the state last month at 2.4%.
