An arrest has been made, and charges filed in connection with a stabbing incident that occurred on the north side of Napoleon on the morning of March 26th.On Wednesday, officers of the Napoleon Police Department served charge for two counts of Felonious Assault against 39 year old Kyle Kirby of Bowling Green. The charges were filed with legal representatives for Kyle Kirby, since he is still receiving medical care from the incident. The charges stem from what at the time was called a road-rage incident; but that is now being evaluated. There were two victims injured in the parking lot of 1815 Scott Street in Napoleon that day, on March 26th.Debra Hall of Springfield, Ohio was injured while sitting in her vehicle, when it was struck by Kirby’s auto. Nicholas Winterfeld of Perrysburg was injured in the stabbing, and is a former Liberty Center resident. Both victims were taken to hospitals in the region; and have since been released. Witnesses at the scene did provide medical help to Winterfeld and Hall before first responders arrived.
Kyle Kirby will be appearing in Napoleon Municipal Court at a future date to face the two Felonious Assault charges; but that hearing has not yet been scheduled, due to Kirby still receiving medical treatment. Napoleon Police Lieutentant Ed Legg reports the investigation continues, and further charges are under review.
