There will be plenty of interviewing going on in the Northeastern Local School District over the next few months, with close to 9 staff members retiring from the system so far. At their recent meeting, the Northeastern board accepted the retirements of teachers Jill Sautter and Jean Meyer, each with 24 years at Tinora Schools. And Denise Moore is retiring from the cafeteria staff after 43 years of service to the community.
Work on the community auditorium is picking-up steam at Tinora Schools, with plumbing and underground work underway, along with masonry, and site utility tie-ins. The auditorium-administration project is still projected to be completed by next spring.
