The Four County Board of Alcohol, Drug Addiction, and Mental Health Services is set to receive nearly $918,000 in federal funds for projects that support substance use and abuse services.
At their meeting Thursday, the board awarded over $550,000 to A Renewed Mind Behavioral Health Services, nearly $182,000 to the Maumee Valley Guidance Center, and over $177,700 to Recovery Services of Northwest Ohio.
A Renewed Mind will utilize the funds to provide extended stays at their men’s residential facility in Napoleon for clients that need more than 30 days of residential treatment.Some of the funds will also be used for walk-in services, including diagnostic evaluation, linking clients to treatment.Maumee Valley Guidance Center will be purchasing mini-vans to transport clients, and to expand their adolescent prevention program.
