DEFIANCE COUNCIL PASSES ORDINANCE TO RESTRICT DROP-OFF CLOTHING BINS

The city of Defiance has voted to eliminate those drop-off clothing bins around the community.In a split vote Tuesday night, council passed the ordinance to shut them down, but will then bring them back under new regulations. Property owners will have until the end of the year to remove them, and after that, can request the city to allow them back.

Defiance Council passed an ordinance to turn a couple of commercial lots over to the CIC for an expansion at a pet care facility on River Street.

And the city of Defiance will be purchasing some IT equipment to improve storage and internet speed, with Cares Act funding.
