PATRICK HENRY SCHOOL BOARD APPROVES LEVY RENEWAL FOR BALLOT, RENOV. UPDATE

A final resolution was approved by the Patrick Henry School Board of Education that will lead to placement of an emergency levy on the November ballot. That action took place Monday night, seeking passage to continue the $746,000 in funds each year that are utilized for school operation.Due to the Rover pipeline running through the Patrick Henry district, the total amount of tax dollars paid by local residents on this same levy is proposed to fall by 45% from the first year of the levy, to 2021.
