A Napoleon man was arrested early this (Mon.) morning in connection with a shoplifting incident and assault on a police officer.It happened around 2am this morning in the 700 block of Scott Street.38 year old Eric Gossman of Napoleon was taken into custody soon after the shoplifting, and was charged with Theft, Resisting Arrest, and Felonious Assault.Gossman was transported to CCNO, and is scheduled for arraignment in Napoleon Municipal Court on Tuesday.Two Napoleon officers were injured in the fracas, and were treated and released from the Henry County Hospital.Gossman also sustained minor injuries.
