It might not have a merry go round, or a parade; but there will be a Putnam County fair beginning on Monday in Ottawa.Junior Fair events will dominate most of the activities this year, beginning with the goat and lamb shows Monday, and that night will be the coronation of the Jr. Fair king and queen for 2020.
Tuesday will feature the 4-h cattle shows, and hog shows on Wednesday.The Putnam County Fair will feature food vendors, so that great fair food will be available.They are planning on truck and tractor pulls next Friday, followed by the annual demolition derby at the Putnam County Fair next Saturday.Some open class animal shows are also planned for this year’s fair.And there is free admission to everyone.
