The Van Wert Post of the highway patrol investigated an injury accident in Paulding County today (Mon.).Just after 10am, troopers were dispatched to a crash on state route 66 near county road 166 in Brown Township.20 year old Anthony Baxter of Payne drove off the road, and into a bean field.The auto kept going, and struck an occupied residence. Anthony Baxter suffered serious injuries; and was taken from the scene by Samaritan helicopter, to Parkview Regional Hospital in Ft. Wayne.There was obvious structural damage to the home, which was occupied, but no one was transported from the residence. Baxter had to be extricated from his vehicle by Oakwood Fire and Rescue.
