HENRY COUNTY FAIR TO GO-ON AS JUNIOR FAIR ONLY FOR 2020

One of the top family events each year around northwest Ohio is the county fair.Well the corona-virus has put a dent in that fun too.The Henry County Senior Fair Board met Wednesday night, and they have passed a resolution to hold the county fair this year, but almost exclusively geared toward junior fair events. The decision was a tough one stated fair board member, Josh Rettig. There will be harness racing at the Henry County Fair; but it will be held without spectators. There will be no rides this year, and food will be limited. And two of the biggest activities at the Henry County Fair- the Tomato Festival parade and pageant are both cancelled this year, at this point.Safety and social distancing guidelines will be set-up for the junior fair activities, and more details on those events are still being determined.
