FATAL MOTORCYCLE CRASH TAKES LIFE OF RURAL DESHLER MAN

A fatal motorcycle crash in Hancock County last weekend took the life of a rural Deshler man.The accident was investigated by the Hancock County Sheriff’s office on state route 235 between Hoytville and McComb.71 year old Donald Rosebrook of rural Deshler was operating the motorcycle, and failed to negotiate the curve in the highway.The motorcycle went off the road, through a ditch, and into a field, where both occupants were ejected when the bike flipped over.Donald Rosebrook suffered critical injuries, and was pronounced dead at Blanchard Valley Hospital in Findlay.70 year old Bonnie Rosebrook of rural Deshler was transported by Life Flight to St. Rita’s Medical Center in Lima.The sheriff’s office report indicates both victims were wearing helmets at the time of the accident.
