It was a big hit on sales tax revenues when the monthly report on sales tax receipts was announced in Defiance County.Clerk of Courts Amy Galbraith report vehicle titles in April plummeted from 2885 last year, to just 1,097 in April of this year.That also meant a decline of over a half-million dollars in the month of April alone.New car titles fell from 155 to 56 in the monthly comparison.New truck titles dropped from 102 to 42.Used car titles were down by about 1,000, and watercraft titles dropped from 34 to 7 in April for Defiance County.Motorcycles fell from 54 to 20 in the monthly update.
