Sirens were blaring in downtown Defiance Saturday as the Parade of Heroes sends the annual Christmas for Kids campaign to its final week.First responders from all over northwest Ohio delivered toys and financial contributions to the local marine corp for distribution in the Christmas for Kids drive.Those toys are distributed in the communities where they were donated, along with purchases of other toys, to make Christmas something special for families in need.This is the final week for collections in this year’s campaign.
