The Defiance County Grand Jury indicted 16 persons after cases were presented by Prosecuting Attorney Morris Murray.The indictments included 30 year old Audrey Foust of Defiance, indicted for Attempted Murder and Felonious Assault.Authorities allege that on November 17th, Foust used a knife to stab an adult male victim in the chest at a residence on Harrison Avenue in Defiance.
And 68 year old Robert Barker of Defiance was indicted on four counts of Sexual Battery, and ten counts of Gross Sexual Imposition.It’s alleged that Barker engaged in sexual conduct with a juvenile victim under the age of 13 from March 2016 till September 2019 at a residence on Breckler Road rural Defiance.And that the victim was compelled by force or threat of force.
