Law officers in northwest Ohio are searching for a male subject in connection with an armed robbery and abduction that took place in Putnam County Saturday night.At about 9:30pm, the Putnam County Sheriff’s office was called concerning an incident that took place outside the Dollar General Store in Collumbus Grove.A male subject later identified as James M. Phillips forced a woman at gunpoint to get into her car, and then ordered her to drive away.During the drive northbound toward Ottawa, the male subject took the cell phone of the victim, and demanded an undisclosed amount of cash.The female subject talked Phillips into letting her out of the vehicle, while he sped away with her car.The victim was able to flag down a motorist and get to safety where she reported the incident.Putnam County law officers are now searching for James M. Phillips, and he is considered armed and dangerous.
