NAPOLEON GIRLS TENNIS PLAYER, ALIZA LANKENAU HEADED TO STATE

For the 3rd straight year, Napoleon is headed to state in girls tennis.Senior Aliza Lankenau will make the trip with two wins today at the district girls tennis tournament at BGSU.Aliza knocked-off an opponent from Milan Edison, and then punched her ticket for state by beating a #1 seed from Lima Shawnee in straight sets.Aliza now has 87 career wins for the Napoleon Wildcats, and will play in the district finals on Saturday to determine her seeding for state.She is only the second player in Napoleon history to qualify for state at least three times in girls tennis singles.The other being JoEllen Walker.
