FULTON COMMISSIONERS REVIEW DOG LICENSE FEES AND SEWER ASSESSMENTS

The Fulton County Commissioners reviewed sewer assessments and dog license fees at their recent sessions.The board decided to keep the dog license fees at the same rate for next year.Last year, there were 5,791 dog tags issued in Fulton County.But this year, only 3,176 have been sold so far.County Commissioners have until August 31st each year to announce any changes to the dog license fee, according to the Ohio Revised Code.

Fulton County’s sewer assessments were reported as follows:for the Pleasant View Sewer system, the yearly assessment is $654, for the Pettisville sewer system the charge is $402, and for the Elmira-Burlington system assessments are right around $995 annually.

And Fulton County Commissioners are now seeking proposals for snow removal at county facilities.
