A large graduating class, and a small incoming kindergarten class has tipped the enrollment numbers downward at Defiance City Schools.The Defiance board of education reviewed enrollment for the new school year, and found there were about 40 less students attending this year.
Reports from Defiance School administrators indicate the new school year is off to a good start. Following an executive session the Defiance Board approved a 2% wage increase for the Central Office Special Education Administrator.And April Fruit was hired as a new bus driver for the district.
