The city of Napoleon has a new finance director.Kelly O’Boyle was approved for that position by Napoleon City Council, following an executive session Monday evening.O’Boyle will take over finance duties later this month in Napoleon, after serving as assistant county administrator in Wood County.Napoleon Council also named Chris Peddicord to serve as interim finance director until Kelly O’Boyle arrives.
A first reading was approved on the resolution to work with the city of Napoleon in improvements to Clairmont Avenue.This proposal also calls for Napoleon Schools to improve the parking situation along Westmoreland Avenue near the ballfields.
And Napoleon Council approved the issuance of notes for a half-million dollars to get the new swimming pool project underway.
