JUNE 2019 RAINFALL TOPS AVERAGE, NOW OVER 10 INCHES ABOVE NORMAL FOR 2019

For the sixth straight month in 2019 the rainfall total for the month surpassed the average in northwest Ohio. A whopping 7.21 inches of precipitation was recorded for the month of June.That’s about 3.6 inches above normal for the sixth month of the year.Rain fell in 12 of the 30 days last month, with the biggest share on June 2nd.That’s when 3.39 inches was recorded that day.

So far in 2019, just over 28 inches of rain has fallen in northwest Ohio.That’s more than 10 inches above normal precipitation for half the year.
