ARCHBOLD MAN IS SENTENCED TO PRISON FOR SEX OFFENSE

An Archbold man is headed toward a lengthy stay behind bars after his conviction as a sex offender.The case was heard in Fulton County Common Pleas Court, where 49 year old Michael Ledesma of Archbold pled guilty to Importuning, Disseminating Matter Harmful to Juveniles, and Failing to Register a change of Address as a Sex Offender.Ledesma tried to solicit sexual activity with a juvenile, by means of telecommunications.His original conviction was for an attempted rape from 1997 in Henry County.Michael Ledesma was sentenced to a total of 88 months in prison, and when released, he must register his address with local law officers for 15 years.
