The unemployment rates in northwest Ohio may have plummeted to new low figures, after the May numbers were released from Job and Family Services today (Tues.).Putnam County and Williams county led the region with jobless rates at 2.4 and 2.6% respectively.Fulton County and Defiance County tied with their May unemployment at 3.4%, while Henry County was a notch higher at 3.5.Two years ago at this time, unemployment in Henry, Fulton, and Defiance Counties hovered around 4.5%.The lowest jobless rate in the state of Ohio was Mercer County at 2.1%, while Monroe County had the highest unemployment at 6.7%.
