TINORA MAKING PROGRESS ON NEW SCHOOL DESPITE SOGGY SPRING

Despite a soggy spring, construction crews have been able to get a lot of work done on the new Tinora school building project.Superintendent Jim Roach reports temporary parking lots have been installed, and parking has been rerouted at the property.Waterlines and sanitary sewer lines have been re-routed.The former vo-ag addition was abated and demolished.The spring work has included the start of foundation work, in fact the middle school gym foundation is complete.

The next phase will be completion of foundations along with plumbing, electrical, and underground work.That will lead to masonry crews putting brick and block up for the walls.Erection of steel will also be a big part of the summer construction schedule for the new Tinora school.
