Law officers in northwest Ohio are still trying to determine the identity of a body found in the Maumee River late Friday afternoon.The deceased victim was found in the area of the Cecil bridge by a passerby, and was recovered by the Auglaize Township fire department with the help of their watercraft.There were no missing persons sought in the area, but authorities are also checking with Indiana law officers.The Defiance County Sheriff’s office has ordered an autopsy by the Lucas County Coroner’s office for the white male found dead in the river.
