STAMP OUT HUNGER FOOD DRIVE IS THIS SATURDAY

The nation’s largest single-day food drive is ready to roll tomorrow across America.It’s called ‘stamp out hunger’ .And the U.S. Postal Service is hoping you’ll join them in the cause.Residents should leave their non-perishable food donations in a bag near the mailbox this Saturday before the letter carrier arrives.Foods like canned tuna, salmon, beans and peanut butter, high in protein, are especially requested.But all boxed and canned foods will be accepted.Make sure the cans are not expired.Fruits and cereals are also great items to donate.Last year’s collection brought in 71.6 million pounds of food.Let’s top that this year, in the Stamp Out Hunger drive, teaming with your local postal service.
